How do you help your child to search safely on the Internet? Use our online library Destiny to help guide you to the best age-appropriate and reputable websites. Our online school library Destiny helps to filter all of the unrelated websites and provides you with the most reputable, kid-friendly websites for research. 

Click on:

  2. Sacred Hearts Lower Academy (K-6)
  3. Login 
  4. Enter your school wifi username and password. Hit Enter
  5. Catalog 
  6. Library Search 
  7. Type in your keyword. Hit Enter
  8. There will be 4 tabs on the right. Select Websites
  9. All of the reputable websites will show up. Click on the titles that interest you.

Online Safety Education At School & At Home

I came across this really reputable website filled with excellent resources for teaching your family how to be safe online. We will be covering this curriculum in school, but families are encouraged to do these activities together at home as well. Pinkalicious the Musical

"Pinkalicious The Musical is making its Hawaii Premiere at Performing Arts Center of Kapolei (PACK) September 13th - 21st. The production is based on the popular children's book Pinkalicious by Elizabeth Kann and Victoria Kann. PACK's musical adaptation is directed by Meagan Olson, with choreography by Tonesha Holland and musical direction by Kimberly Francis.

Show dates are September 13th - 21st with Friday and Saturday shows at 7:00 PM and Thursday shows at 6:00 PM. Ticket prices range from $5 - $6 and are available online or by calling 808-683-8015. Performances are held at the Kapolei High School Cafeteria located at 91-5007 Kapolei Parkway in Kapolei. Parking is free."

Cyber Safety Workshop




The Curriculum Research & Development Group (CRDG) at the University of Hawai`i will host a cyber safety and digital citizenship training workshop for parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators. There are two workshop opportunities available: Saturday, August 24 or Saturday, September 28, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Register.
